First, spray you hair with lots of hair spray, specially by the roots, massage the hairspray evenly to the hair, and then dry with hair dryer. It will make your hair stand straight and lets you create spikey shapes. Now, form the spikes with your hands, and spray with hair spray evenly on all the length. When spikes are formed, use the hair dryer again to dry and "cement" the spikes. You should now have great bouncy spikes that will last the whole day. For best results, put a little bit of hair gel on the top of every spike to hold and keep the shape!

- Get some awesome choppy layers cut into your hair. If it is curly, think about having it straightened!
- Getting it razored will make people think you are aiming for an emo look. Dye your hair black or stark blond with streaks of other colors, such as bright pink or electric blue, any color that is crazy and will stand out. You could also dye underneath a bright colour, and leave the top your natural colour.
- As an alternative, you can keep your natural hair color and get some lowlights/highlights that compliment your hairstyle. The most common hairstyle in the scene is either straight black or blond with black underneath.
- Grow out your fringe and pin it to the side with Kirby grips or bow clips during the process.
Styling methods for great Scene Hair:
Keep in mind that you'll be straightening your hair. Use a hot oil or similar hair treatment weekly, such as Aussie 3 minute miracle to reduce damage from all the hairspray, straightening, and combing
Straighten all of the hair, and then let each section of layers down one at a time until you have straightened your whole head.
Once all of your hair is straightened, comb your bangs over to one side and straighten them into place.
- Take the hair on each side of the crown and back-comb (tease) it.
- Repeat for all of your top layers and spray into place.
- If your bangs are not staying in place, hold them there with a bobby pin or cute clip.
- Hair-spray your whole head, but not too excessively or else your hair will look greasy.
- Go out on the town and let everyone see your cool new hair!
Few usefull Tips:
Cutting it yourself makes a very unique style. No-one will have the same! But remember to keep looking at it. Especially the back or it might get uneven.
If your natural hair color is an amazing shade of red, do not dye it. You can never get it back. Red can be hard to duplicate with dye and growing out red roots once you've dyed your hair blonde/black can look bad. Be aware of damage. Dying/straightening your hair often will damage it.
Don't be afraid to go a while without. Don't forget to have fun! Experiment with your hair - see what looks best!
Here are few simple steps to get ur hair ''poofy''- what you will need:- teasing comb
- hair spray that adds body
- wax
- blowdryer
after you wash ur hair flip your hair over and blowdry it upside down, spray hairspray all over-top and bottom- flip ur hair over and there should be some body in it.
Next apply wax to your hair-mainly where the poof is, or wherever you want it- grab the teasing brush and start backcombing-brushing backwards- after you have got the look you want hairspray all over and add a bow or headband or go without!

It's funny sometimes how you think someone will create something worthy for you just because he creates miracles for himself... It's tough when magician reserves all the tricks for himself, but not the audience. Is it sign of poor magician? Perhaps, maybe lack of motivation, maybe lack of experience, deffinitely lack of people skills.
How To Take Great Scene Queen Photos?Audrey Kitching, Jac Vanek, Kikki Kannibal, they all look absolutely fantastic, no doubt about it. Now, with the status of celebrity, these beautiful Scene Queens are ones to look up to. But where did they all start? We know it could have been Buzznet, MySpace or Bebo pages, social networking, adding celebrity friends and posting fantastic photos. Yes, they all take loads of fabulous photos of themselves. Don't they look proffessional? Yes, but this can be done at home too! Here we will give you few helpfull tips how to take great photos of yourself.
First of all, choose funky looking clothes, with strong colors and / or bold designs. The best design on offer at the moment is one of Scene Queen's favorites -
These Hoods are very flattering, look great on pictures and you can't get more Scene than that :)
Next, make-up, always put heavier make-up for photoshoots than you do everyday, as photos tend to blur the objects, and you want to bring out your eyes and flawless complexion, right? On great tips, how to do Scene Emo Make-Up, please see our guide - How To Do Emo Make-Up.
Now, the most important task, choose where to take your photos! The best light would be outdoors on a sunny day, ideally in the park, or local playground. If you prefer to take photos at home, choose a piece of white wall as a background. And try to avoid sockets and other wiring to get into your frame :)
Now strike a pose and find the one that suits you best. Use digital camera, to know instantly how the photo looks like, and what to improve in your pose, how to put your head, arm etc. Look at Audrey and Jac's photos, how do they pose, smile, and remember, you'll get better with time :)
